Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

IJML is committed to ethical publishing standards and expects all parties (authors, editors, reviewers, publisher) to uphold academic integrity.

Author Responsibilities

• Submit original work that is not under review elsewhere.
• Properly cite all sources and contributions.
• Avoid plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification.
• Disclose conflicts of interest and funding sources.
• Ensure all listed authors have made significant contributions.

Reviewer Responsibilities

• Review objectively, fairly, and on time.
• Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts.
• Declare conflicts of interest.
• Report ethical concerns (e.g., plagiarism, data manipulation).

Editor Responsibilities

• Make decisions based on scholarly merit and relevance.
• Ensure a fair and unbiased review process.
• Preserve reviewer confidentiality.
• Act on ethical concerns and misconduct allegations.

Publisher Responsibilities

• Support editorial independence.
• Maintain publication integrity and transparency.
• Issue corrections/retractions when necessary.
